Cem Yildiz is a content-led growth and brand builder who specialises in helping early-stage businesses get attention that converts — and then putting the right foundations in place to turn that demand into repeatable revenue. He started his career in media/content production, creating and editing video content and running campaigns for clients ranging from charities and small businesses to larger brands (including O2/Telefónica).
Over the last decade, Cem applied those skills to his own venture as co-founder of What The Pitta, bootstrapping the brand from the ground up and scaling it into a multi-site hospitality business with a strong following and significant delivery demand. Through that journey he became a practical generalist - spanning content, influencer/viral marketing, brand, customer psychology, operations and team management - building an email list and direct marketing engine that could drive demand quickly when needed.
Today Cem is doing more work with e-commerce/DTC brands, with a particular interest in acquisition, retention, increasing AOV, and smart use of tools (including AI) to improve marketing performance and execution.
A 1:1 session with Cem is best suited to founders with early traction — typically solo founders to small teams (often up to ~10 people) who already have a product in market and want to grow faster, but need sharper execution across positioning, brand trust cues, content, and DTC marketing.
He’s particularly effective with consumer brands (DTC/e-com and product-led businesses) rather than pure B2B and is most useful when there’s at least some budget to test (ads, tools, site improvements) and a willingness to iterate.
A 1:1 with Cem is a practical working session that typically focuses on:
Cem typically works with founders as a hands-on advisor/consultant - reviewing what’s in place, identifying the biggest conversion and growth opportunities, and then mapping out a prioritised plan of improvements and tests. He’s also open to deeper involvement where there’s strong mutual fit, including more embedded/fractional support as a business ramps up its marketing engine.
