Bio

Nicholas’ experience and background stems from the sales, operations and management of a financial regulated business, and as the proprietor of a leading leasing company in the UK for over 25 years.

Having a keen interest in the finance, fintech and blockchain sectors Nicholas now works as a freelance consultant, advisor and non-exec director for various early and mid stage organisations. Current roles include Investor Relations Advisor at Swiss blockchain company IAMX AG and Chief Partnership Officer at BVI incorporated SIKA, a blockchain based investment platform.

Nicholas has an in-depth knowledge of fund raising, ‘go-to-market’ sales, strategic partnership development as well as technical architecture and operational ‘common sense’ skills.

Focus of 1-2-1 Session

Nicholas expertise lies in technical architecture, go to market strategy and business management and these are good areas to focus on in a 1-2-1 session with Nicholas. Nicholas is happy to provide:

  • a thorough review of proposition, whitepapers, investor decks, customer proposals
  • assistance with formulating a fundraising strategy e.g. identifying and engaging with investors – simple tips on what to say and what not to say!
  • advice on running, or assisting with, board meetings
  • advice on strategy, including hosting and assisting in strategy sessions

To make the most of a 1-2-1 with Nicholas it would be helpful if you can provide the following information at least 24 hours in advance of your session:

  • Any relevant documentation, i.e. investor deck, executive summary, customer presentation etc.
  • LinkedIn profiles (or CV’s) for the principal founders.
