A 1-2-1 with Alison provides an opportunity to review and gain feedback on your financial forecast. She will explore your assumptions, your growth strategy and your cost base so that you know whether this will withstand interrogation by investors. Many investors ask if your financial forecast has been reviewed by an adviser and completing a 1-2-1 session with Alison allows you to confirm this is the case.

A session with Alison is ideal if you feel confident with Excel spreadsheets and forecasting and what someone to probe and test your assumptions.

What you need to prepare

Prior to attending a session with Alison, you need to have prepared:

1. Your financial forecast using the template provided in workshop four (or similar) and set as that week’s assignment.
2. You will need to supply this to Alison at least 24 hours in advance of your 1-2-1 session.
