Natalie McNamee is an exited founder, growth marketer and fractional commercial director who helps consumer brands find and fix the revenue gaps that are holding back growth. She is particularly strong at looking across the full commercial engine - from acquisition and conversion through to retention, customer support and advocacy - then identifying where the next revenue opportunity is sitting.
Natalie’s background is highly practical and founder-led. She launched her first business at 18: a dance and fitness studio that grew to more than 400 monthly members and developed B2B partnerships that still exist today. After COVID made the service-based model harder to sustain, she exited the business to the manager she had hired and trained.
She then built DYNS Clothing, a bootstrapped DTC fitness and streetwear brand, from scratch. With no paid acquisition, she grew the brand to more than 3,000 customers and a 20,000-strong organic social community, secured strategic partnerships, negotiated influencer collaborations, and generated £29k from an influencer-led pop-up weekend. She explored angel and family office funding, including walking away from a £100k investment offer when it did not feel right for the business.
More recently, Natalie joined Camera Intelligence, an AI/e-commerce startup, as Head of Go-to-Market and first commercial hire. She built the revenue and customer function from the ground up, launched on Kickstarter, sold 700 cameras, shipped a GTM website in one week, improved organic web traffic and email deliverability, and built the customer experience function from scratch.
Today, Natalie works with B2C and DTC consumer brands where growth has stalled, paid ads are not delivering enough margin, or the team knows there is more revenue in the business but cannot see where to focus. Her style is direct, practical and founder-aware - shaped by having built, exited and closed businesses herself, and by knowing what it feels like to scale without a big budget, safety net or large team.
Natalie is best suited to revenue-generating consumer brands, usually physical product businesses, where there is already a commercial engine to assess. Her ideal clients are typically B2C or DTC brands with traction - often around £1m+ revenue - that may be angel-backed, VC-backed or bootstrapped, and are now looking for the next stage of growth.
She is especially relevant for founders in health and wellness, fitness, clothing and fashion, food and drink, and consumer AI/tech. She can also support service-based consumer businesses where the model sits close to health, wellness or fitness.
A 1:1 with Natalie is a focused growth diagnosis session. Before the call, she will usually look at the customer journey - website, social, email flows and other key customer touchpoints - so she can come into the conversation with an initial view of where revenue may be leaking.
Typical session themes include:
Natalie’s approach is “find it, fix it, build it, lead it”. After an initial session, she may offer a deeper audit or fractional commercial support - either building the missing pieces herself or leading the team so they can own the growth engine after she steps back.
