Kerstin Reichert

Bio

Kerstin Reichert is a senior marketing consultant and growth strategist who helps startups bring clarity, focus and structure to their marketing so it drives customer acquisition and predictable revenue. She is particularly strong where marketing activity is busy but unfocused - too many channels, too many ideas, and not enough confidence about what is actually working.

Kerstin has more than 15 years’ experience across marketing, SEO, content, growth and go-to-market strategy. She has worked closely with founders, business owners and leadership teams across a wide range of industries, helping them turn complexity into clear priorities and practical roadmaps.

Her background includes senior marketing roles at SeedLegals and Tide. At SeedLegals, she was Head of Marketing and previously SEO and Content Lead, working on strategy, budgets, delivery and managing channel owners. She also led marketing for The Pitch, powered by SeedLegals, the UK and Ireland’s largest pitch competition, helping early-stage entrepreneurs connect with investors and move towards seed funding. At Tide, she was part of the business during a significant scale-up period, as the team grew from around 80 to 1,000 people.

Kerstin also brings deep teaching and enablement experience. As a LinkedIn Learning instructor and course creator, she has trained more than 100,000 professionals across organisations including Amazon, PayPal, Google, Deloitte, Vodafone, Siemens, Deutsche Bank, SAP and Microsoft. Her expertise includes marketing strategy, positioning, customer acquisition, SEO, content, product marketing, AI enablement and automation.

Today, Kerstin works independently with startups and marketing teams, helping them make better decisions about where to put time, budget and energy. She is especially useful when a founder-led marketing function needs to become more strategic, more measurable and more aligned to growth.

Focus of 1-2-1 Session

Kerstin is best suited to B2B startups between seed and Series A, where the business has moved beyond product-market fit but marketing is still largely founder-led or underdeveloped. These are usually companies with a product in market, early revenue, some customer traction, and a need to build a more consistent and scalable approach to acquisition.

A 1:1 with Kerstin is a practical marketing strategy review. The session is designed to help founders understand whether they are focusing on the right customers, using the right channels, and putting effort into the activities most likely to create commercial results.

Typical session themes include:

  • Marketing strategy and focus - clarifying what marketing should be doing for the business right now, and what can wait.
  • Ideal customer definition - pressure-testing who the business is really trying to reach, whether the ICP is specific enough, and how that should shape channel choices.
  • Channel selection - reviewing whether the current marketing channels match the stage, customer, buying journey and available budget.
  • Content-led growth - exploring how founder thought leadership and educational content, templates and expert-led resources can support trust-building and acquisition.
  • SEO and AI search visibility - improving how the business is discovered through traditional search and surfaced in AI-driven search, using SEO and generative engine optimisation (GEO)
  • Paid and retargeting strategy - sense-checking whether paid activity is worth the spend, what offer is being used, and whether retargeting could work harder.
  • Partnership and event marketing - identifying when partnerships, expert collaborations, events or competitions can credibly support lead generation.
  • AI enablement and workflow - using AI and automation in practical ways to speed up marketing execution without losing quality, positioning or credibility.

Kerstin typically engages as a senior strategic partner, consultant or workshop lead. She can help founders review the current marketing approach, identify gaps, prioritise the next actions, and build a roadmap that gives the team more confidence about where growth will come from.

Where there is a strong mutual fit, she is also open to extending the engagement through ongoing strategic advisory support or a more embedded fractional marketing role.
